Los Angeles/Nashville: Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and country music star Keith Urban have officially divorced amicably, ending nearly two decades of marriage.
The couple finalised their separation in Nashville on January 6 after announcing their split in September 2025.
Court documents revealed both have waived claims to alimony and child support, opting instead for joint custody of their teenage daughters, 17-year-old Sunday Rose and 15-year old Faith Margaret. The 58-year-old Kidman and 57-year-old Urban will jointly divide their $282 million fortune, according to Daily Mail.
Kidman and Urban first met in January 2005 at a gala event in Los Angeles. Their relationship quickly blossomed and within months they made it public at events. By November 2005, the couple announced their engagement, drawing widespread attention. The Australian natives married in a romantic ceremony at Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel in Sydney on June 25, 2006. The couple welcomed their first daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban on July 7, 2008 at Nashville in the USA.
