Bhubaneswar: As forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), night temperatures dipped by 3-4 degrees Celsius at several places on Friday. At least 10 districts recorded night temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or less and experienced cold wave conditions with Daringbadi being the coldest at 6.5 degrees Celsius.
Other districts that recorded minimum temperature below 10 degrees Celsius are Keonjhar and Phulbani, (8); Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Boudh and Bhawanipatna (9); Angul (9.6); and Nayagarh and Koraput (10).
Several districts recorded night temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.
In the twin cities, Bhubaneswar recorded a minimum temperature of 12.1 degrees Celsius, while Cuttack recorded Cuttack 13 degrees Celsius.
