Berhampur: NIST University in Berhampur of Odisha’s Ganjam district organised a national-level techno-management symposium, ‘Sankalp 2K24’, to nurture technical expertise and skills among the students.
Speaking at the event, founder chairman of the university Sukant K Mahapatra said the two-day event of techno-fiesta gave the students an opportunity to explore and conquer new horizons while redefining the meaning of success.
The students showcased their talent in various events such as robotics, web designing, quizzes, coding, paper presentation, and others during the symposium held in NIST campus on March 21 and 22.
Rinkesh V Kurkure emphasised on the importance of industry collaborations to empower students on the latest technologies and future-proof their career by learning new skills. Vice-Chancellor in-charge P Rajesh Kumar said such symposium provides a chance to the students to showcase their abilities in creativity.
The symposium featured talks by industry experts who shared their experiences on latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Cultural events including Mr and Miss Sankalp, DJ and band were also organised. Bollywood singer Laqshay Kapoor and DJ Faizan Khan also enthralled the audience with many hit songs. The event was coordinated by Kshirabdhi Tanaya Nayak.
Sashi Shekhar Mohanty, CEO & MD of Essar Minmet Limited Mumbai; Rinkesh Vishnu Kurkure, CTO & Co-founder of Psaximo Aerospace; Pravat Kumar Parhi, Chairman of ISTE Odisha section and Anurag Agarwal, Founder of New Leaf Dynamic Technologies were among the prominent guests who attended the event.
