No Change In Class X, XII Curriculum Due To Lockdown: CBSE
New Delhi: Amidst the nationwide lockdown, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday released the curriculum for the academic session 2020-2021 for secondary and senior secondary schools.
According to an Indian Express report, the Board has advised schools not to make any changes in the curriculum as it may affect the assessment of learning level among students.
The board also stated that it will consider the loss of instructional time in the academic session 2020-21 because of the lockdown.
“It is reiterated that any deviation in transaction of the curriculum may seriously affect assessment of the student’s learning level and the preparation for the Board examinations. Please note that the Evaluation will be carried out exactly according to the syllabi given for the current academic year,” the CBSE notification stated.
