No-Confidence Motion Fails To Take Off Amid Noisy Protests
New Delhi: The no-confidence motion that the TDP and YSR Congress put forth couldn’t be taken up due to the noisy protests by several parties in the House, which led to its adjournment.
While the Rajya Sabha was adjourned within ten minutes of assembly, the Lok Sabha was fiest adjoined till noon and then for the entire day.
Three non-confidence notices against the Government were placed by YSR Congress member Y V Subba Reddy and two members of the TDP – Thota Narasimham and Jayadev Galla.
As soon as the House began at noon, MPs from TRS and AIADMK entered the well of the House and disrupted the proceedings. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan then stalled the proceedings till March 20.
