Puri: A COVID vaccination certificate is not required for Puri denizens to enter the Jagannath temple in Puri.

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in this regard was issued for the residents of Puri on Friday.

Notably, the Jagannath temple is set to reopen for devotees from August 16. It will stay open from 7 am to 8 pm.

As per the decision taken in the Chhattisha Nijog meeting, only the residents of Puri town will be allowed to enter the temple for the first five days from August 16 to 20.
