No Entry Of Devotees Into Samaleswari Temple During Nuakhai In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Samaleswari Temple Trust has decided to bar the entry of devotees to the shrine here on the occasion of Nuakhai festival on Sunday.

The Trsut President, Sanjay Babu, on Saturday said the festival will be held with strict adherence to the COVID-19 guidelines.

“It has been decided that the sevayats will perform the Nabanna Lagi ritual. To facilitate the devotees to witness the ritual, alternative arrangements have been made for live streaming of the ritual on social media platforms,” he added.
