Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 146 new COVID-19 cases on Monday and the same number of patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Among the 146 new recoveries, 26 were reported from Cuttack, 23 from Khurda, 18 from Ganjam, 13 from Mayurbhanj, 12 from Gajapati, 11 from Bhadrak, 11 from Balangir, 5 each from Kandhamal, Koraput and Rayagada, 4 from Kalahandi, 3 each from Jajpur and Nayagarh, 2 each from Dhenkanal, Nuapada and Puri and 1 from Jagatsinghpur.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stands at 2854, the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted.
The virus has so far claimed 11 lives in the state. With recoveries negating the new cases, the number of active cases remained the same at 1187.
