Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 978 on Tuesday with detection of 102 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The fresh cases have been reported from Jajpur (31), Bhadrak (21), Kendrapara (8), Cuttack (4), Khurda (4), Puri (4), Jagatsinghpur (23), Angul (2), Balasore (2), Sambalpur (2) and Nayagarh (1).
The only positive is that Ganjam saw no new case in the last 24 hours. This corona hotspot with affected tally of 307 has reported positive cases almost every day since May 2 with the return of migrants from other states. Most of these cases have been detected in quarantine centres.
