Sundergarh: “You all know about the ‘KALIA Yojana’. Till now, 40 lakh farmers have benefitted with this Yojana. But the BJP has been planning to stop KALIA Yojana. The BJP is trying to stop us from giving rights to the farmers. But no one can stop this scheme till I am alive,” said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, while addressing a public gathering in Sudergarh district for the second phase of the elections.
If the BJD will comes to power again, each farmer of the state will get Rs 10,000 as two instalments of KALIA Yojana, declared Naveen.
He also said Sundergarh is the birthplace of Hockey, which has brought laurels at the international level.
“It is a proud moment for us that we have organised Hockey World Cup here successfully,” said Naveen.
Women are the real double engine of development, Naveen repeated.
BJD has given rights to the women of Odisha. The party has selected Sunita Biswal as Lok Sabha candidate in Sundergarh. She will fight in Delhi for Sundergarh, he added.
“At the time of elections, Union Ministers have been coming to Odisha. Ask them about the second bridge over Brahmani river in Rourkela and about the super speciality hospital,” Naveen said.
“The 4.5 crore people of Odisha are my family members. I will serve them till I am alive. Give me blessings and vote for BJD,” he added.
