Washington: US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that American military forces will maintain their positions around Iran to ensure compliance with a newly reached agreement amid ongoing regional tensions.
“All U.S. Ships, AIRCRAFTS, and military personnel with additional ammunition, weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and destruction of an already substantially degraded ENEMY, WILL REMAIN IN PLACE, IN, AND AROUND, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGGREMENT reached is fully complied with.” Trump wrote, signalling a firm US stance following a recent two-week truce after intense US-Israel strikes against Iran since late February.
He added a stark warning. “If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the ‘Shootin’ Starts’, bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before.” The statement comes after Iran’s pledge to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and safe, addressing prior disruptions that threatened global oil flows.
Stressing prior understandings, Trump stated: “It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all the fake rhetoric to the contrary –NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and, the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN & SAFE.” This follows US deployments of over 50,000 troops, carrier groups, and advanced aircraft in the Middle East to counter Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional aggression.
He also noted US readiness, stating: “In the meantime out Great Military is Loading up and Resting, looking forward, actually, to its next conquest. AMERICA IS BACK!”
