Bhubaneswar: After three days of heavy rainfall, the weather in Odisha will remain dry for the next two days, according to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) release on Wednesday.
“The low-pressure, which had triggered heavy rainfall in Odisha for three days, has moved to Chhattisgarh. As a result, there will scanty and sporadic rainfall at one or two places in the coastal and southern Odisha districts in the next two days,” the release said.
The officials of the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, said that the weather will remain dry during Rath Yatra on July 4 (Thursday).
They also said that since there was no weather warning for Odisha, fishermen could go for deep sea fishing. They, however, said that the weather will change from July 5 as the state will continue to receive monsoon rain.
