No Room For Complacency In COVID-19 Fight, Says Subroto Bagchi While Comparing New York With Puri

Bhubaneswar: Chief Spokespersons of the Odisha government on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi on Tuesday warned people against any kind of complacency with regards to COVID-19.

“We cannot be complacent because we just have three coronavirus positive cases. If not careful, it will spin out of control,” he said.

To drive home his point, Bagchi compared Puri’s population density with New York city, the epicentre of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US, and Jeypore with Rome in Italy, where the virus has so far claimed 11,591 lives.
