Cuttack: The process for filing nomination papers for elections to Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will be held at at the OCA conference hall here on Friday.
According to the notification issued by OCA’s Electoral Officer, candidates can file nominations for the post of president, vice president, secretary, joint secretary, treasurer, and member of the apex council of OCA between 10 am and 5 pm. The filing of objection is scheduled for Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm and the scrutiny or disposal of the same will be held between 1 pm and 6 pm.
The candidates can withdraw their nomination on Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm and the valid list will be declared on the same day, stated the official notification.
The poll is scheduled to be held on October 28 at the OCA conference hall following which results will be declared after the counting of votes.
It is pertinent to mention here that BJD general secretary (organization) Pranab Prakash Das has entered the fray for the president. Jajpur Association proposed his name and the members supported it.
Similarly, Pankaj Lochan Mohanty will contest for the Vice President post and Sanjay Behera for Secretary.
