Jeypore: A COVID-19 hospital was made operational in Jeypore town on Monday.
According to sources, the old sub-divisional hospital here has been converted into a dedicated facility to treat patients with this infection. It can accommodate 150 patients.
The hospital is equipped with three ventilators, 20 ICUs, an observation ward and special ward for COVID-19 patients.
The accommodation for doctors has been made at two hotels in the town, while the paramedics will stay at the newly-built Vikram Dev College, the sources said.
