Puri: After Bhubaneswar, Puri…
The Suryakiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force (IAF), which enthralled spectators in Odisha’s capital on Friday, will be performing next in Puri on Sunday.
But the weather forecast is not very rosy and bad weather could play spoilsport.
The aerobatic team, however, will carry out a full dress rehearsal on Saturday over Blue Flag beach in Puri, where the show will be held. The full dress rehearsal will be held from 10.20 am to 11 am.
The Puri district administration has urged the general public to go and watch the show in large numbers.
A fresh cyclonic circulation is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal around September 18 and intensify into a low pressure in the subsequent 48 hours, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Friday.
Heavy rainfall is likely to lash Odisha from September 18 under the influence of the low pressure system, the IMD said.
The SOA’s Centre for Environment and Climate (CEC), however, predicted light to moderate rainfall from September 19 and heavy to very heavy rainfall on September 21 and 22 under the influence of the low pressure.
