Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s regional centre issued a nowcast alert valid till 5.25 pm on Saturday.
Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning likely to affect parts of Mayurbhanj, Gajapati, Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Angul, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagarh, Ganjam, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar and Sambalpur districts within the next three hours.
