Bhubaneswar: Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) Adviser Bijaya Sahoo on Thursday felicitated the students of OAV Notar in Nayagarh district for ranking first at the national level in an online campaign on traffic awareness.
Principal Secretary (SME) Satyabrata Sahoo, Nayagarh Collector Poma Tudu, SPD Lingaraj Panda and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had encouraged these students through tweets.
The OAV adviser also reviewed the progress of education in the Nayagarh district. All block education officers, district education officers, and principals of all OAVs along with officials from SME, Works, RWSS, and RD were present at the review meeting.
During the meeting, Sahoo set deadlines for completion of pending works at OAVs and also finalised a target for the board exams this year.
