Bhubaneswar: Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Advisor, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS), Government of Odisha, visited Ganjam district on Tuesday to review the status of Adarsha Vidyalayas.
He addressed the principals of 22 Adarsha Vidyalayas, Block Education Officers (BEO) of 22 Blocks and the District Education Officer (DEO), during a two-days District-Level Review meeting.
The idea behind the visit was to give a briefing about the mission of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for OAVs to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the students through the 5Ts – technology, transparency, teamwork, time and transformation approach. He also outlined the importance of the Adarsha Vidyalayas in building a better future for the students through technology, teachers training, infrastructure, enterprise resource planning (ERP), updated website etc.
Each of the principals presented the status of their respective schools through power point presentation, which included various parameters on curricular and co-curricular progress.
