Odia Movie ‘Mana Museum’ Released
Bhubaneswar: Odia movie ‘Mana Museum’, produced by Sangita Mohanty under the banner of Sangita Motion Pictures, held its premier show in Odisha capital on Friday. The film is releasing in 10 districts.
‘Mana Museum’ is directed by of Ollywood’s leading cinematographer Dhrubananda Panda, known for his hit movies like ‘Love Master’, ‘Abhya’, ‘Siva Not Out’, and ‘Super Star’.
Actors Nihar Nayak and Upasana are in the lead roles. Nihar who studied professional acting at the Houde School of Acting in the US, and started his career with Hollywood movie “Slave to the Rhythm” by Patrick Manway in 2017, made his debut in Ollywood through Mana Museum.
Sayal Mukherjee and Animesh Ghosh were cast in the movies as child actors for Pati and Mani – two main characters.
Sarat Nayak directed its music and Bijaya Malla has written lyrics while the screenplay and dialogue of the movie is written by Bharadwaj Panda. Sukumar Mani is the editor of the movie and Girish Mohanty is credited with choreography.
Mana Museum is a story that centres around Pati (a cinematographer) and Mani (Pati’s childhood friend).
Pati had purchased a house which he planned to turn it a museum to store collections of Mani’s memoirs. In course of time, the two fall in love.
Since childhood, Pati used to secretly collect Mani’s used items like hair clips, old pencils, scales, pens, etc. and preserved them. Mani always looked for various reasons to meet Pati. However, the two get separated by strike of misfortune. They get a chance to meet each other twenty long years later. But the love story of the duo had a different ending in the film.
