Nayagarh: Odia short movie ‘Dadana’ has been selected to be screened at the Chambal International Film Festival in Rajasthan.
The two-day film festival will be held at UIT Auditorium in Kota for two days from April 16.
‘Daadana’ will be the only movie from Odisha to be screened in the festival, which will shocase 400 short films from 44 countries.
Director, actor and music director Ashok Kumar Ganthia, popularly known as G Ashok Kumar has made this film. He has also written the concept, lyrics and screenplay for the movie and also scored the music.
Producer of the film is Pravatnalini Ganthia.
The movie is produced under the banner ‘Harmony Films’.
Sudhansu, Kanchan, Banamali, Snigdha, Debabrata, Bismay, and Madhu have played different roles in the movie.
Notably, Ashok, son of Shankar Ganthia, belongs to Khalisahi village under Khandapada block in Nayagarh district. He has directed many TV serials. He has also played several roles in serials, and films.
