Bhubaneswar: A woman of Odia origin allegedly committed suicide in her house in Bengaluru.
According to a report, the deceased, Barsha Priyadarshini of Ambali village under Konark police limits in Puri district, a senior executive in a medicine company Biocon Ltd, and her husband Ratikant Rath who works with an earth movers company were staying with their three-year-old son at Vakil Magnolia Apartments in Bengaluru.
Barsha’s family members alleged that she committed suicide on December 21 as she was mentally tortured by her in-laws.
Police have registered a case of unnatural death and begun investigation.
