Bhubaneswar: Popular Ollywood actor Shreyan Nayak’s upcoming film ‘Chumki- Se Ta Paanire Budiba Nahni Ki’ is currently in the post production stage.
According to a TOI report, Shreyan wants ‘Chumki’ to release in theatres and hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic ends soon.
The film was shot before the lockdown was imposed across the country and its post production started during the unlock phase.
“The production of the film was over before March. Just when it was going to the post-production stage, the lockdown happened and it was stalled. Thanks to the unlock process, the editing work is on. After this we will dub for it,” the actor was quoted as saying by TOI.
Helmed by Girish Mohanty, the film features Shreyan Nayak, Upasana Mohanty, Jyoti Mishra, Choudhury Bikash Das, Pradyumna Lenka, Pragyan Khatua, Pushpa Panda, Shakti Baral, Kaushik Mohapatra and comedians Jojo and Hadu.
‘Chumki’ revolves around a musician’s journey from Koraput to Bhubaneswar.
“The film shows some supernatural connections. It’s more of a suspense thriller,” said Shreyan, while talking about the movie.
“The film was shot in the beautiful locales of Manali and Ladakh. The beauty of Odisha has also been captured well through shooting in Koraput, Baripada and Bhubaneswar,” he added.
