Odisha Air Health Services Teams Fly To Nabarangpur To Treat Patients In Remote Areas
Bhubaneswar: Continuing Odisha government’s efforts under Mukhya Mantri Bayu Swasthya Seva Yojana to provide improved healthcare to the people of remote areas, two teams of doctors flew to Nabarangpur district in last two days to treat patients.
While a team of doctors proceeded to the district to provide proper healthcare to the people of remote areas, another team of specialists was sent today as part of efforts to strengthen health services.
This information was given by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
It may be noted that the Mukhya Mantri Bayu Swasthya Seva (Air Health Services), launched in December 2021, aims at taking health services to thepeople of remote and backward areas of the state.
The scheme will benefit people from weaker sections of society and bridge the gap in health care services
The first team included doctors from different faculties such as Urology (Dr Biswajit), Laparascopic Surgery (Dr Jyotirmaya Nayak), Nephrology (Dr Chinmayananda), Hepatology (Dr Gyana), Cardiology (Dr Pravin Jaiswal) and Anasthesia (Dr Partha).
Meanwhile, the second team includes — Dr Suchismita Bhuyan, (Asst. Prof, Cardiology), Dr Anija Pattnaik, (Asst Prof, Anesthesia) , Dr Satyajit Samal, (Asst Prof, Urology), Dr Aswini Kumar Sahu, (Asst Prof, Neurology, SCB MCH Cuttack), Dr Swagat Subudhi, (Asso Prof, Surgery), and Dr Sarat Parida, (Asst Prof, Nephrology).
