Bhubaneswar: Odisha government’s Higher Education Department (HED) has announced the Phase II admission timeline for undergraduate (UG) courses under SAMS (Student Academic Management System) for the academic session 2026-27.
Online Common Application Form (CAF) is now available on the SAMS UG portal – https://www.samsodisha.gov.in. The last date for applying online is September 20 (11.45 pm), as per the notification issued by HED.
The application form can be edited till the last date of submission.
The provisional allotment of seats for first-round selection, along with names of waitlisted applicants will be published at 4 pm on September 23.
Selected applicants will have to report for admission at the allotted institutions after downloading the intimation letter through SAMS portal, and paying the fees. Fee payment can be done from 10 am on September 24 to 5 pm on September 26.
Document verification and data updation by institutions will continue till 9 pm on September 26.
For spot selection round, waitlisted applicants will have to report physically at their desired HEIs with CAF and relevant documents between September 28 (10 am) and September 29 (2 pm).
A representative with valid ID proof will also be permitted on the candidate’s behalf.
The merit list for waitlisted applicants who report on designated dates will be published on the Notice Board/Website of the HEIs on October 1 at 2 pm and communicated via phone/SMS. Reporting for document validation and final admission with fee collection will be held from October 3 (10 am) to October 5 (5 pm), except holidays.
If vacancies still remain, reporting of waitlisted applicants will continue from October 6 to October 7 (5 pm). Admission updation in the e-space will be done from October 3 to October 7 (9 pm).
