New Delhi: Yazdani International (P) Ltd on Wednesday bagged Kalmong iron ore and manganese block at a premium of 100 per cent.
Besides Yazdani, existing lessee Rungta Mines Ltd, Lal Trades & Agencies Pvt, GV Mines Minerals and Metals Pvt Ltd and Gopal Sponge and Power Pvt Ltd were in the race for this composite mine in Sundargarh district.
The estimated ore reserve of this mine is 1.40 MT iron ore and 3.695 MT manganese.
This was the 13th of 19 mines enlisted for auction in Odisha.
On Tuesday (February 11), Vishal LPG Fuels Pvt Ltd bagged another composite mine, Nadidih iron ore and manganese mine in Odisha’s Sundargarh.
Lessee Ghanashyam Misra and Sons Pvt Ltd Mishra & Sons Pvt Ltd retained Gorumahisani iron ore block in Odisha auction at a premium of 115 per cent the same day.
