Bhubaneswar: The BJB Autonomous College has received necessary approval from the Higher Education Department of Odisha government to start its Post Graduate (PG) course from the upcoming academic session 2023-24.
According to official sources, the Higher Education Department issued a notice to college Principal Niranjan Mishra on Tuesday.
A total of 480 seats have been approved by the education department in three streams- Arts, Science, and Commerce.
There will be 13 subjects including English, Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Hindi, History, Odia, Political Science, Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, Sanskrit, and Mathematics under Arts stream.
Likewise, there will be six subjects including Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, and Computer Science (Self Financing) under Science stream.
