Bhubaneswar: Odisha unit of BJP has announced the names of presidents for 36 organisational districts of the party in the state.
According to a release of the BJP, the list of its district presidents was released after the approval of the party’s Odisha president Manmohan Samal.
As per the list, Babu Singh has been appointed as president of Bhubaneswar district, Lalatendu Badu of Cuttack Nagar, Prakash Behera of Cuttack Sadar, Asrit Patnaik of Puri.
Similarly, Umakant Mohapatra will be the president of Balasore, Hemant Padhi of Bhadrak, Aswin Kumar Sarangi of Bargarh, Shibaji Mohanty of Balangir, Naresh Mohapatra of Dhenkanal.
MLA K Narayan Rao will head Gajapati district, while Dr Subash Sahu will be president of Ganjam, Satyabrata Mohapatra of Jagatsinghpur, Goutam Rai of Jajpur, Sunil Panda of Jharsuguda, Kishore Panda of Kendrapada, Tapas Ranjan Martha of Nayagarh, former MLA Kandra Soren of Baripada, Pramod Mohaptra of Subarnapur and Girish Patel of Sambalpur.
