Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader of Odisha, Jagannath Pradhan on Tuesday quit the party expressing dissatisfaction over the selection of Bhubaneswar organizational district president.
Pradhan has sent his resignation letter to state BJP president Samir Mohanty. Pradhan was BJP candidate from Bhubaneswar Central constituency in the last Assembly election.
The resignation of Pradhan came soon after the BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra announced the appointment of Babu Singh as the president of the Bhubaneswar organizational district and advocate Debendra Mohanty as the president of the Kalahandi district unit president by the state party president Samir Mohanty.
