Odisha-Born Singer Sona Mohapatra Brings ‘Pakka Local Moves’ To .FEST
Bhubaneswar: Bollywood singer Sona Mohapatra is all set to regale the audience at Bhubaneswar City Festival .Fest on Monday. After the high octane performance by music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, the city is looking forward to her electrify style and soulful rendition.
The singer also took to Twitter to express her joy to be back in Odisha capital for the concert.

She also had some words of praise for the city decked up for the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup along with an array of other events lined up for sports enthusiast and tourists alike.
She tweeted about meeting the team from the Netherlands over breakfast and inviting them over for her ‘Lal Pari Mastani’ concert.

Sona’s raw and powerful voice has won her fans across Odisha and India. She also posted a video where she is seen rehearsing with her boys the ‘Pakka local moves’.

Known as the Indian Lady Gaga, this Cuttack-born singer has also ruffled a few feathers in the state with her performances and tweets in the past. She drew flak for her rendition of popular Odia bhajan ‘Ahe Nila Saila’ and a case was filed against the Mumbai-based singer at Singhadwara police station in Puri, this year. And then ensued a Twitter war.
She was also criticised for mispronouncing and fiddling with the cult Sambalpuri song Rangabati in her remix version.
Among her biggest hits are Rupaiya (Satyamev Jayate), Bedardi Raja (Delhi Belly), Ambarsaria (Fukrey), Jiya lage na (Talaash) and Naina (Khoobsurat).
