Back in September, Jena had overpassed his own state record to emerge as the winner in Men’s javelin at the 68th Odisha State Senior Athletics Championship by throwing a distance of 76.41 metres.
After Neeraj Chopra’s stint at the world stage by grabbing gold in the Javelin throw at 2021 Olympics, the sport has been receiving a lot of attention. India is looking for its next star, will it be Jena.
