Bhubaneswar: BJD president Naveen Patnaik on Monday announced the names of the party candidates for the bypolls to Balasore Sadar and Tirtol constituencies on November 3.
While Swarup Kumar Das will contest from Balasore Sadar, Bijay Shankar Das, son of late Bishnu Das, will contest from Tirtol.
Notably, BJP has named Manas Dutta, son of late Mandan Mohan Dutta, and Raj Kishore Behera as its candidates for Balasore Sadar and Tirtol constituencies, respectively.
