Bhubaneswar: Two senior IAS officers of Odisha cadre – Ashok Meena and Nikunja Bihari Dhal – have been empanelled in Secretary rank by the Central government.
According to sources, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of 21 IAS officers, including Meena and Dhal, for holding posts at the Centre at secretary or secretary-equivalent level.

Both Meena and Dhal are 1993 bath IAS officers of Odisha cadre.
Dhal is at present posted as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in Odisha, while Meena is now the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
