Bhubaneswar: Jagatsinghpur SP Sudha Singh, a 2006-Odisha batch IPS officer, has been appointed an one of the five new SPs in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi.
A Home Department notification on July 16 relieved Singh of her present posting. She will now head for Delhi on central deputation for a period of four years.
Singh was appointed as the Jagatsinghpur SP, a post she had held earlier between 2014 and 2016, in February this year. She has also served as an SP in the Vigilance Directorate.
A separate notification by the Ministry of Personnel in March has also confirmed Singh’s appointment as a CBI SP.
