Speaking at high level meeting through video-conference, Mohapatra said in the unlock scenario, the collectors should focus on irrigation, horticulture, lift irrigation, dairy farming, housing and road construction works. However, he cautioned the departments to follow the COVID-19 protocols and SOPs strictly.

Stressing on hearing of people’s problems and finding their early solutions, the chief secretary told the collectors that they should be easily accessible to the people. Further, he advised the senior officers to start district visits and resolve the field level implementation issues as and when they emerge.
