Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Saturday allowed one-time relaxation for the promotion of Medical Officers (MOs), who are at the forefront of COVID-19 fight, under the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) scheme.
The Performance Appraisal Reports (PARs) of three years of the preceding seven years will be taken into consideration for this purpose.
“Though the provision was announced a year ago, they could not get promotions under this scheme due to want of required PARs,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said.
According to the new provision approved in 2019, all the Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) cadre officers will get three assured promotions after 7, 14 and 21 years of continuous service from their entry-level.
The Chief Minister assured them that the exercise will be completed by April 30.
