Bhubameswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed deep grief at the death of eminent poet Rabi Singh on Sunday and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved family
The CM described Singh as a very talented poet, prolific writer and a true patriot. Saying that Singh’s death has created a great void in modern Odia literature, the CM declared a state funeral for the late poet for his “immense contribution to our freedom movement and Odia literature”.
