Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday felicitated six international sand artists, who had participated in the International Sand Art Festival at Chandrabhaga beach in Konark.
The Chief Minister felicitated the six sand artists of USA, Canada, Russia, Ireland, Denmark and Togo at Lok Seva Bhawan and apprised them of the traditional art of Odisha.
A video presentation on the International Sand Art Festival was also done on the occasion.
Among others, chairperson of Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) Srimayee Mishra and chief advisor to the Chief Minster’s Office (CMO) R Balakrishnan and senior officials of the OTDC were present.
