Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday took a big leap in creating a pool of trained manpower in new-age technologies and enhancing employment opportunities in the IT space with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurating Tech Mahindra’s international BPO centre and a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence (AI) here on Monday.

The centre will train 30 students every year, focussing on upskilling and familiarising them with new-age technology like AI and machine learning, the statement said.
Chairman of Odisha Skill Development Authority Subroto Bagchi, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Pramananda Nayak, Managing Director & CEO of Tech Mahindra C P Gurnani and others attended the inauguration programme.
