Bhubaneswar: Students of SAI International School, who bagged the top three positions in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2023 from Odisha, called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday.
Swayam Shakti Tripathy became the state topper by securing All India Rank (AIR) 8 with 715 marks while Surya Pratap Mishra and Abhipsa Chowdhury came second and third with AIR 35 and AIR 63. Abhipsa also figured in the top-20 list of female candidates.
The CM wished the students a bright future. Chairperson, SAI International, Silpi Sahoo was also present.

Notably, 28,330 of 55,866 candidates from Odisha could qualify the NEET exam. A total of 57,092 candidates had applied for the exam from the state.
The NTA conducted the test for 20,87,462 candidates at 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities throughout the country, including 14 outside India.
