Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik will be leaving on a three-day visit to Delhi on Monday and reach the national capital around 3,30 pm in a Vt-TSG Hawker 900 XP aircraft.
He is scheduled to attend the BBC Sports Woman of the Year Award ceremony at the Taj Palace Hotel at 6.30 pm.
On Tuesday, he will visit Parliament and hold a meeting with BJD MPs. He is also expected to spend time in the Central Hall to interact with leaders. This assumes significance against the backdrop of the upcoming presidential elections due in July in which the BJD can play a crucial role since the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government is about 1.2 per cent away from the total votes it needs for its candidate to sail through.
