Odisha CM Rings Bell To Get 2nd T20I Underway At Cuttack’s Packed Barabati

Cuttack: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik rang a bell at the Barabati Stadium to get the second T20 International between India and South Africa underway here on Sunday evening.

A capacity crowd of around 45,000 cheered the CM as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly escorted him.

Ganguly had earlier called on Naveen at his residence.

The Barabati Stadium is hosting an international game after a gap of two-and-a-half years and a T20I after almost five years.

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won his second successive toss and asked India to bat first.

India lost the series-opener at Delhi’s Ferozeshah Kotla on Thursday.
