Odisha CM’s Grievance Cell Reopens After Brief Hiatus

Bhubaneswar: The grievance cell of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi resumed on Monday after a brief break during the Legislative Assembly session.

Majhi was seen at the cell with officials of the CMO and other departments this morning attending general public who had come to Bhubaneswar from across the state.

It may be noted that Majhi on Saturday inaugurated a camp office of the CM’s grievance cell at Mandua in Keonjhar district.

CM’s grievance cell was closed for the assembly session for 6 weeks apart from a few festivals which fell on Mondays, sources said.

However, this week onwards 1000 registrations will considered. These registrations will be done online, sources added.

The new system has streamlined the process of grievance hearing and redressal apart from crowd management at the cell, officials said.

“From this week onward, people will access the CM grievance cell from the rear end through a lane along Rajiv Bhavan. The Governor House – AG Square route will be for city traffic,” they added.
