Bhubaneswar: Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik has written to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, suggesting the imposition of complete lockdown or shutdown in all districts, where the virus has spread at the community level.
“Most of the districts are under community spread at this juncture, the government should take some drastic steps to control the pandemic,” he said.
The state Congress chief said that complete lockdown or shutdown will help in proper contact tracing and clinical efforts can be undertaken during this period to break the chain.
