Koraput: Police have seized ganja worth over Rs 4 lakh and arrested two alleged inter-state peddlers at Machhakunda in Koraput district.
The accused were identified as Chaturam from Bihar and Rajia Paswan from Delhi.
According to sources, Machhakunda police intercepted an SUV during night patrolling on Thursday. A search of the vehicle revealed the contraband hidden under the seats.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that the ganja was being smuggled from Andhra Pradesh to Bihar via Koraput district.
