Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 90 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 2478 on Thursday.
According to Health Department sources, 79 among these fresh cases have been detected in quarantine centres while 11 are local contacts.
Khurda reported the highest of 25 new cases, followed by Ganjam (22), Dhenkanal (10), Bhadrak (9), Nayagarh (7), five each from Cuttack and Sundargarh, Puri (2) and one each from Balasore, Kalahandi, Sambalpur, Angul and Bargarh.
With seven deaths and 1416, Odisha now has 1053 active cases.
