Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 130 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 2608 on Friday.
According to Health Department sources, 124 among these fresh cases have been detected in quarantine centres while six are local contacts.
Cuttack has reported the highest of 23 new cases, followed by Khurda and Mayurbhanj at 22 each, Ganjam (12), seven each in Gajapati and Sundargarh, Koraput (6), four each in Bargarh and Bhadrak, three each in Jajpur, Balangir, Kalahandi and Kandhamal, two each in Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Kendrapara and one each in Puri, Rayagada, Jagatsinghpur, Angul and Sonepur
With seven deaths and 1481 recoveries, Odisha now has 1117 active cases.
