Odisha COVID-19 Tally Crosses 4500-Mark With New Cases From 18 Districts

Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 174 new corona positive cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally to 4512 on Thursday.

According to the tweet by the I &PR department, 146 of these cases have been detected in various quarantine centres and the remaining 28 cases during contact tracing.

Ganjam reported the highest of 56 new cases, followed by Balasore (34), Puri (16), Khurda (10), Jajpur (9), seven each from Nabarangpur and Kendrapada, six each from Kalahandi and Koraput, Keonjhar (5), Bargarh (4), three each from Sundargarh, Bhadrak and Kandhamal, Boudh (2), and one each from Malkangiri, Nuapada, and Balangir.

With 11 deaths and 3047 recoveries, Odisha now has 1451 active cases.
