Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a slight rise in daily COVID caseload as 443 more people, including 75 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had witnessed 358 cases on Saturday, 467 on Friday, 521 on Thursday, and 615 on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 258 of the new infections are from quarantine and 185 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest 243 cases (54.85%) followed by Cuttack at 27. No new cases have been reported from 11 districts.

Besides, 58 cases are from the state pool.
With these cases being detected from 55,115 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.80%. The TPR was 0.66% on Saturday, 0.77% on Friday, 0.81% on Thursday, and 0.98% on Wednesday.
While the affected tally has touched 1035077, Odisha now has 4,997 active cases.
