Odisha COVID Update: Active Cases Drop To 105, 12 Districts Turn COVID-Free
Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 10 new COVID cases for the second consecutive day on Sunday. Among them, 2 are in the age group of 0-18 years.
According to the I & PR department, 7 of these infections are from quarantine and 3 local contacts.
Here are the district-wise figures of the new cases:
1. Balangir: 1
2. Kendrapada: 3
3. Khurda: 2
4. Sambalpur: 4
With these cases being detected from 18,945 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.05 per cent.
Odisha now has 105 active cases and 12 districts – Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Jharsuguda- are free from coronavirus.
